New dancers are welcome every week at the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School’s Beginner Tango Class. Everyone studies both roles in this fun and friendly environment.
During the month of January 2023, master teacher Carla Marano is teaching this and all classes at the school.
Based on walking, tango is easy to start learning and dancing, but offers limitless potential for complexity and growth. Come check it out and see if you like it!
As part of our efforts to rebuild the tango community after the pandemic shutdown, we offer this class FREE for dancers ages 30 and under. We also offer unlimited sliding scale to make sure that no one is excluded based on price.
Please bring shoes that allow you to pivot on the floor, or plan to dance in socks.
If you pay for the class, the social dance (milonga) afterwards is free (except on live music nights).
