PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 16, 2012): Merge Dance Studio, “Where Dance and Fitness Merge”, will be the first dance studio of its kind in Manayunk. Merge Dance Studio will offer professional dance and fitness instruction to all ages and levels. Merge Dance Studio strives to provide a fun and encouraging learning environment through quality instruction and a varied class schedule. Weekly classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern/contemporary, jazz funk/hip-hop, musical theatre dance, Piloxing, and Zumba will begin on July 10, 2012. Merge Dance Studio provides a professional and encouraging environment in which students of all ages and levels can come to study dance, get fit and most of all, have fun.

(Phoenixville, Pa, February 14, 2012)Photographer Brian Mengini, is bringing his emotional series, empoweredME, to the Phoenix Village Arts Center, 209 Bridge St Phoenixville. This month long installation will kick off on Friday March 2nd with a First Friday reception in the artist’s studio on the 2nd floor. The reception will include refreshments from Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a face painter, a free “empoweredME” photo sessions and an opportunity to meet the artist. The event runs from 6-9 and is open to the public.
