The Mascher Space Cooperative Presents FRESH JUICE, June 26

For the last 13 years Mascher has hosted Fresh Juice as a way to highlight and support the evolving work of our artists-in-residence, and this year is no different! On June 26th @ 12:00pm in Hawthorne Park, members of our 2020-2021 class of Artists-in-Residence will be presenting new and in-progress work that they have been developing over the last year. We are so excited to share the many dimensions of performance that our wonderful artists bring to the table.

Presenting Artists include: Poetico Dance Collective, Loren Groenendaal and Curt Haworth, Jay Kimberley, Katarina Poljak, Paule Turner Duchess, and Meredith Stapleton and her citrus-craving baby bump will attempt to host us all.

Member Coordinator, Meredith Stapleton notes “As we’ve all learned by now, planning anything during these times involves unpredictable curveballs, shifts, and variables. Mascher artists in residence have resiliently adapted and held one another up through a lot in this particular process. As a production coordinator, I have never felt more uncertain about what will happen on stage come show day. For you to salivate, here is my best guess, but be ready to cleanse your palate with the freshest of Fresh Juice on June 26th.”

This event is fully open to the public and will be in an open-air park in South Philadelphia. The event is free with a Pay What You Can donation model. Donations can be made in cash or using Paypal.
