After running around town all weekend trying to catch as many Fringe performances as possible, I found myself on Sunday night taking a much-needed break and attending the Koresh Artist Showcase September Series. Eleven pieces were showcased over the course of the evening, featuring a variety of choreographers and dancers. The fact that every seat in the house was full on such a busy weekend is a tribute to the dancers as well as Roni Koresh and his staff, who put so much work into exposing the Philadelphia community to the pure joy of dance.
Showcases are held on Saturday and Sunday evenings several times throughout the year and each performance lasts approximately 45-50 minutes. Tickets are just $12 per person for the best seat in the house! More information can be found at https://www.koreshdance.org/showcase/
Here is a sample of the evening’s work…

Next followed three beautiful pieces by dancers from The Rock School of Dance Education: Kaeli Ware, Emma Spillane, and Gabriela Gutierrez. (photographs not permitted)
