Professional ballet company, BalletFleming, is pleased to announce its exciting upcoming 3rd season. They will be kicking off their 2012-2013 Season as a part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, September 21-23, 2012. BalletFleming will be performing original choreography, Dancing in the Streets, by Christopher Fleming, BalletFleming’s Artistic Director and Choreographer. The 2012-2013 Season will also include the return of the popular and successful ballet, The Myth and the Madness of Edgar Allan Poe, most recently performed at the Mandel Theatre on the Drexel University Campus. They taught me enough to recognize an outstanding ballet company when I see one. Philadelphia is very fortunate to have such a company in the form of BalletFleming.” The Poe ballet is scheduled to be performed at the Gloucester County College in Sewell, NJ on Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th.
As a part of the company’s touring component, BalletFleming will once again be returning to Tampa, Florida to perform the ballet, Gaspar-A Pirate Fantasy at the Straz Performing Arts Centre in January of 2013.
