An evening of riotous rhythms

On Saturday, March 20th, Tap Team Two will be presenting their new work, “Reflections – Emotions in Motion, Rhythms in Rhymes, Spirits in Bodies Dancing in Time” at the Community Education Center, 3500 Lancaster Avenue.

This evening of riotous rhythms will  incorporate tap dance, original spoken word poetry and the stunning artwork by visual artist Bob Burden, Sr. Performing along with Tap Team Two will be special guest Darrel Williams. Choreography for the evening was composed by Robert Burden, Jr., Corinne Karon and Pamela Hetherington.  Spoken word artists will include Yvonne Sampson, JoAnna Turner, Charles Tyson, Jr. and Nicholas Wilson.

About Special Guest Darrel Williams
“Hoofer” says it all! Darrell’s talents range from choreographing tap to improvisational hoofing. From the city of Chester, PA, Darrell began his training at the Hedgrow Theatre in Media, PA. Following his stint there, he studied at the Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia. He attended the University of the Arts where he studied with LaVaughn Robinson. Darrell has been seen in concert at the Philadelphia Arts Bank, Merriam Theatre and Trump Plaza. His choreography has aired nationally on “Show Time at the Apollo.”
