We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic dancer to join our amazing team at Simone Knowelle Dance Project.

Simone Knowelle Dance Project is looking for dancers with strong technical backgrounds in modern and ballet with a strong classical foundation and performance experience  to join the company.

Where: Community Education Center, Philadelphia, PA.

When: Wednesdays/Thursdays 5:30-9

Simone Knowelle Dance Project (SKDP) is looking for dancers with a strong classical modern/ballet foundation and performance experience  to join the company. This is an exciting position for freelance dancers age 21+ to work with SKDP in West Philadelphia for performances through out Philadelphia and touring opportunities arising in 2024. The first project will include the creation and tour of Simone Knowelle’s festive dance production.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays/Thursdays 5:30-9
Performances: TBA

*Paid teaching opportunities.

Company membership is unpaid but dancers are provided with travel stipends. This is an opportunity for growth in performance and dance, we are committed to providing dancers with free classes before rehearsal, touring experience, hotel and travel accommodations and stipends during tours.

SKDP is committed to supporting the next generation of aspiring dancers, in addition, you will support the company’s developing social media strategy in collaboration with the senior team. Training will be provided where relevant.
