Call for Movement Artists for Fringe Show

I am looking for 4-6 female-identifying dancers to be a part of my Fringe show, Anima. In Jungian psychology, the anima represents the image of woman in the male unconscious. This work will tell embodied stories and reflections on being on the receiving end of the male gaze and focuses on healing the divine feminine. Archetypal figures of Mother Earth, Fairy Queen, Mistress of the Night, and others will be explored through a blend of spoken word, projection, and movement. This project will be a collaborative work developed through the lens of being a female-identifying individual in contemporary Western patriarchal structures. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons/early evenings in the Philly area, Mid-May until the September show(s), which is TBD. I can offer a $150 stipend for those participating with additional compensation should more funding come in.
