Koresh Dance – Hybrid – Beginner-Intermediate Ballet with Fang Ju-Chou
Beginner/Intermediate Ballet features professional dancer and Koresh Company Member alumni Fang Ju-Chou. This class is perfect for students who have prior Ballet experience and the desire to transition into the intermediate level. Class will move at a moderate pace and focus on advancing basic technical skills within more involved combinations. It is advised to have prior Ballet technique knowledge and experience.
Intermediate: Dancers with previous training will enjoy the transition into an intermediate level class. Students will progress at a quick yet comfortable pace while increasing strength and flexibility. Movement combinations are layered with multiple steps to refine and advance your dance technique on a pre-professional level.
Equilibrium Dance Academy – Ballet Level 1-2 for ages 8-12
Ballet Level 1/2 is a class for dancers who have at least 3 years experience in a ballet class. This class ranges from 8-12 years old and our teacher Ms. Abby uses the American Ballet Theatre Curriculum for this class. Abby graduated magna cum laude from The University of Hartford’s Hartt School with a B.F.A. in Dance, and an emphasis in Ballet Pedagogy. During her studies at The Hartt School, she had the opportunity to perform in both classical modern and ballet works, including Doris Humphrey’s “Brandenburg Concert No. 4” under the direction of Nina Watt and restaged versions of “Swan Lake,” “Carmen,” and “Petrushka” under the direction of Hilda Morales, Debra Collins Ryder, and Stephen Pier. Abby also performed new contemporary works choreographed by members of Hartt’s dance faculty and guest choreographers including Katie Stevinson-Nollet, Adam Barruch, Bryan Baira, and various peers for student-choreographed concerts.

Ballet Level 1 is a class for dancers who have no experience or little experience with ballet. This class ranges from 7-12 years old who are at a beginner ballet level.
