Musical Theatre Dance is a high-energy class centered around Broadway-inspired movement. The lessons are formatted with a technical dance warm-up that includes center and across the floor work. Students will take an in-depth look at the diverse styles of musical theatre dance and the choreographers who influenced its evolution. The focus of the class will involve learning excerpts of choreography and a full production number. Music selections are comprised of a compilation of past and present soundtracks ranging from Oklahoma! to Hamilton.
This 10-week program is a must for students looking to sharpen their audition skills and become well-rounded performers!
