Designed for the beginning to intermediate level student, the Ballet course introduces and expands on the basic principles of ballet. Each class includes a thorough barre warm-up, center floor adagio and petite allegro, and across the floor grande allegro work. Dancers will gradually gain strength, flexibility and technical precision as a result of their work in this course. This class is a wonderful partner to our Modern Dance program and is recommended for modern dancers age 10 and up, as well as for dancers not enrolled in Modern Dance.

Proper attire required: ballet slippers, tights & leotard or dance pants and leotard.

There is a flat rate service fee per class ticket of $1.00 that supports this site as well as projects in the dance community. This fee will appear under SHIPPING, even though your tickets are being emailed.

SELL CLASSES & PASSES RIGHT FROM YOUR LISTING

You can now sell class tickets and passes right from your event listing. When creating a new event, click on the +NEW TICKET button under the TICKETS section. Then specify ticket type & price (general, student, senior). SELECT – Share capacity with other tickets and specify the maximum number of tickets to be sold. Add additional ticket types and prices as needed.

ALL TICKETS are processed through PhiladelphiaDANCE.org / Dance Box Office and checks are then sent out 5 business days following events. We charge $1.00 per ticket additional fee to the customer for handling.
