ONLINE – Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes & All The Joints In Between with Rhonda Moore
July 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until July 30, 2020
This course offers the wonderful opportunity to warm up, stretch, strengthen, and maximize the body’s natural capacities through the physical and mental investigation of joint articulations and their surrounding and supporting muscle groups. The fundamental concept grounding all physical and mental movement carried out during the semester is based on what can probably be considered the most basic, constant, and shared “activity” we all execute: B-R-E-A-T-H-I-N-G. You will breathe, stretch, and cajole your body towards a new capability and understanding, all though the study of classical ballet – as you gaze at the ceiling (or sky). You will become familiar with the terms, the positions, the mechanisms, the whys, the ways, and you’ll discover how to incorporate that new skill set into your daily lifestyle–all while laying down and breathing: what more can one ask for?
Instructor: Rhonda Moore from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance
Fee is charged per household and cover all 18 hours of real-time interactive instruction.
Classes to be held on the Zoom platform. Meeting ID and password will be emailed at least one day before the class begins.
