Movement Improv with Leah M. Friedman

This class is an opportunity to make connections between your logical side and emotional/spiritual side through guided movement. Each month will be centered around a new theme; we might set goals/resolutions, explore decision making, think about the future/manifestations, or anything else that comes up. This can be a space for dancers who haven’t moved for themselves in a while, non-dancers looking to move more, and anyone in between with an open mind and affinity for dance.

Leah M. Friedman is a Philadelphia-based dancer, creator, and researcher. She has performed and worked with Philadanco! The Philadelphia Dance Company, Philadanco’s D/2, Dawn Marie Bazemore/#dbdanceproject, and Waheedworks, and has presented work with Philly FringeArts (2021), Proteo Media (2020, 2021) and thINKingDANCE (2020). Leah also teaches Graham technique and improv classes and holds a B.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience.
