A great dance class for complete beginners with hip hop dance, taught by Urban Movement Arts’ founder, Vince Johnson. This class will focus on the foundation of grooves, footwork, postures and shapes taught at a very comfortable pace. This is a space for folks that are interested in the process of growing themselves, not for people who want to look dope right away. We will focus on body mechanics and building foundation with the aim of participants becoming confident with entering beginner level classes in multiples styles at UMA and elsewhere. And of course, we hope that you will apply everything that you learn to the dance floor at clubs and parties!
