Opening Night of Koresh’s Come Together Dance Festival

What do you get when you get 24 companies together for 5 nights? You get some awesome Philly dance and some serious Philly flava. Some moments from night one of Koresh Dance’s Come Together Dance Festival which included Chisena Danza, DanceSpora, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, Brian Sanders’ JUNK and of course the festival host company Koresh Dance. Bill Hebert (pronounced AY-BEAR), has been photographing performances in Philadelphia and New York for 10+ years now primarily capturing dance. He has worked such local artists as KYLD, Rennie Harris Puremovement(RHPM), AMM&DCO, Headlong Dance Theater, BalletX, Winged Woman Dance/Tina Heuges, SHARP Dance and Group Motion among many others in Philadelphia. NY based and touring companies Bill has had the pleasure of working with include: Complexions, Limon Dance, Parsons Dance, Doug Varone and Dancers, Camille A Brown, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, Synthesis Dance Project, Stacey Tookey (Still Motion Dance) and Pilobolus. Bill has also had the pleasure of participating in three photography workshops with renowned dance photographer Lois Greenfield.

Bill’s philosophy and mission is to “Capture the Essence of the Moment” and give the work a life beyond the stage.

Bill Hebert is currently a photographer for Dance Affiliates (NextMove Series), Temple University's Dance Department Performance Photographer and Rehearsal Photographer for BalletX.
